Soup with Organic Peeled Red Lentils, Turmeric and Ginger

Instructions

  1. Soak the lentils for two hours.
  2. Clean, peel and coarsely chop the onion, carrots and celery.
  3. Pour everything into a saucepan with 5 cups of water.
  4. Add salt and boil for 40 minutes.
  5. Add the lentils and boil for another 35 minutes.
  6. When the lentils are cooked, mix all together.
  7. Add turmeric and ginger.
  8. Garnish with herbs.

  • 1 large onion
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 stalk of celery
  • 5 cups of water
  • salt to taste
  • 200 gr of organic peeled lentils
  • 1 tsb of turmeric
  • 20 g of grated ginger
  • herbs to taste
