Yummy Bruschetta

Preparing a good bruschetta, appetizing and healthy, is not easy and there are several factors that make it so. First of all, it is important to choose the right bread, which must be well cooked  and of “large size” such as Tuscan bread, Pugliese bread, homemade as well as wholemeal or rye bread .

Then you have to select an excellent Extra Virgin Olive Oil …

and choose the most suitable aromatic herbs for the type of bruschetta you want to prepare, preferably to be used fresh to enhance the flavors and aromas: rosemary, oregano, basil, parsley, marjoram, thyme, sage, but also a nice mix of mountain herbs , with an intense aroma.

Finally, the choice of ingredients becomes decisive and seasonal vegetables can not be underestimated, possibly organic, both for bruschetta to be prepared as an appetizer or for bruschetta prepared to accompany other dishes …. and never forget a pinch of salt (maybe using salt flavored with herbs!).
