Castel del Giudice Hamlet and not only

Castel del Giudice is not only a village of medieval origin in Molise, known for its unspoiled nature and the beauty of its rolling hills, but also a true example of a “virtuous village”. In fact, I was deeply surprised by the love of its inhabitants for their land being able to recover uncultivated areas and making them productive by creating new activities for young people and not only, such as the organic apple orchard, a small laboratory for the production of craft beer and an “albergo diffuso” – Borgotufi – to elegantly accommodate visitors. Visitors can do many activities while staying at Borgo Tufi: from horseback riding, water sports, trekking, skiing, to visiting the nearby villages and the archaeological site of Pietrabbondante.

I personally adore hiking in the woods in the company of expert “quarrymen”, in search of the precious tuber: the truffle. And then taste it with the company of friends and locals, who are always ready to have a chat and tell anecdotes.
Also, I can not visit the village of Agnone, with the charm of its bells, produced in the oldest foundry in the world, and the goodness of its “pasta filata” cheese, the Ostie and “curly confetti”. I bet you are very curios about them! Antonia is also an inexhaustible source of information on the place and able to make you fall deeply in love with “the life” that we all would like to live from time to time. Graduated in History of Art, she is passionate about the history, art and traditions of Agnone. She organizes laboratory tours with tastings of stretched curd cheese, which her family has been producing for eleven generations.

….and of course, before returning to Borgotufi, I always visit the coppersmith, where I enjoy selecting copper “pieces of art” for my friends and international clients.
