London in the time of Coronavirus

London in the time of Coronavirus

Yes, let’s go out, quickly.

Here it is allowed to go out to exercise, then we decide to take a walk to Hyde Park, there is plenty of space there, we will not have problems in keeping to the safe distance.

It is a beautiful day, sunny, blue sky, 23 °, that translate in English it means “summer”.

At the park there is everyone who wants to do some exercise, we bump into a couple that is playing with ball however, at the same time they both are talking at the phone while kicking the ball; two fitness maniacs determined on their planks on the grass; a guy sunbathing on the grass  with his headset on but, a policeman on the bike approaches him and says something that we cannot  hear.

This sun is too precious for not to enjoy it and, we lay back on the grass as well.

Just out of the blue, we have not noticed it, a policeman approaches us too and asks “Good morning, what are doing here? “.

Feeling a little lost, we replied that we are just resting, and the policeman with an elegant British manner reminds us that we still are on lockdown, we can only stay outside for exercising and do not stay too long only for resting.

“Thank you officer” and after a few minutes, feeling a bit unconfortable, we decide to move.

Since we are here, we have time to pop in to that Italian deli on High Street Kensington, so we can buy the Italian prosciutto, ricotta and lentils, we have watched on a blog a new recipe to give a try.
