Colombian Beer

Colombian Beer

London Brixton

…So we decided to spend Saturday morning in Brixton, Brixton Village to be precise.  That is one of my favorite places in London.. so, I am telling you, I will talk about it again.

We meet up at David Bowie graffiti, right in front of the Tube station.

Unbelievable, there are still fresh flowers on the wall (Bowie passed away last January, he was from Brixton, working–class borough, south of London and graffiti has actually been dedicated to the rock star)

We couldn’t help stopping over there even only for a moment, for those ones like me who listened to Bowie since their adolescence, that is actually an unmissable stop, I still have tears in my eyes!

However, what has got this Brixton Village exactly ? Something that tops us up with positive energy and makes us feel like citizens of the world, despite the Brexit !

Today we feel like having something different for lunch, something to talk about: Jamaican, Eritrean, Portuguese, Japanese, Colombian, Spanish, Indian, British, Vegan, Thai, Middle Eastern or Pizza ?

Let’s go with Colombian food today, that will be my first time.

We order Tamales  (mixed meat with corn and beans baked in banana leaves ).… Interesting, different and surprising but, forgive me if I conclude saying that the beer has been the best part of the lunch !
