Five Cereals Bread

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the fresh yeast in warm water.
  2. In a separate bowl pour 320 grams of water and add the yeast dissolved
  3. Apart mix the sifted flour (to avoid lumps), the salt and honey
  4. Put the mixture a little at a time in the bowl with water put aside. Knead.
  5. Knead the mixture until the mixture is smooth and homogeneous dough
  6. Add mixed seeds
  7. Form a ball and let rise in the bowl for about two hours
  8. Prepare the preferred form and mark the surface with a cross using the knife
  9. Bake at 180°C for 45 minutes

The bread made from whole wheat flour is nutritionally better (the full product retains the right proportion of bran, germ and endosperm in the grain), and contributes to weight management.

The five cereals bread is more complete, helps us to feel better because of the fibers that are protective against various diseases, including cardiovascular diseases and type 2 diabetes.

Ingredients

  • 500 gr  5 cereals flour
  • 25 g fresh yeast
  • 10 gr of Himalayan salt
  •  2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
  • 50 g of honey
  • 320 gr of warm water
  • a handful of mixed seeds (sunflower, pumpkin, flax seeds, sesame ..)
